The Bertan-Café Ltd. was founded in 1995 by two businessmen with great experience in coffee- processing and trade. The company was registered in the same year with the registration No. of Cg 11-09-003648.

Our head office is located in the Hungarian capital of Budapest (1025 Budapest, Pusztaszeri u. 93.), while storing, processing and packaging is based in the countryside approx. 40kms from the capital (2325 Sárisáp, Fő u. 4.). At the beginning we started with the importation of green coffee beans - both arabica and robusta - then we expanded the production with roasting, grinding and packaging under the trade name of Kilimandzsáró, which reflect the origin of row materials (East Africa).

Besides the importing and processing green coffee beans we took more and more interest to import, processing, packaging of instant coffee. Our main aim both in coffee beans and instant coffee trading is a very high and constant quality product.

Dealing directly with the coffee beans growers and the instant coffee processing factory makes us able to maintain our price low. The company’s primary goal is to provide excellent quality, low price and permanent reliability towards our partners. Holding shares in coffee beans growing and processing plant of instant coffee gives further guaranty to our customers.
